Anatomy of a Tracker

Before putting them on, identify the front and back of your trackers. The LED indicator should always face OUTWARD. Ensure the straps are tight enough to prevent wobble, but loose enough not to cut circulation.

Correct Placement Points

Visualize your skeleton. The trackers are "anchors" for the software to estimate your bone positions.

  • Chest (1x): Place high on your chest, stable against the sternum. Avoid placing it on soft tissue (belly) to reduce breathing wobble.
  • Waist (1x): Place on your lower back (lumbar), right above the tailbone. This is your center of gravity anchor.
  • Thighs/Knees (2x): Secure just above placement of your knee. The sensor should face FORWARD. If you have big thighs, place it where there is less muscle movement.
  • Ankles (2x): Place directly above the ankle bone. Facing OUTWARD usually gives better signal reception than facing forward.
Pro Tip: Jump once or twice. If you hear a clack or feel them shifting, tighten them! Stability is #1 for tracking quality.
